About John
John Hoylman has brought compelling stories to life for many years. Since launching his own business in 1997, John has used his audio-visual production skills to help corporations and nonprofits educate and motivate important audiences. As an award winning writer and producer, John has extensive experience in many areas, including health care, Indian gaming, manufacturing and brewing. Most importantly, John excels in the art of telling a story with purpose.
John is a veteran broadcast journalist and former Sales Communications Manager for Miller Brewing Company. He has interviewed countless politicians, entertainers and leaders of industry…from Jimmy Carter to Grandmaster Flash. At Miller, John established new uses of video to train and motivate the company’s nationwide sales force. Using drama, music and news formats, he wrote, produced and narrated scores of videos to inform and entertain.
More recently, John wrote and narrated the movies shown to visitors at Miller’s historic Milwaukee Brewery; wrote a documentary detailing the 100-year history of John Deere in Wisconsin; composed music for designated driver spots shown on MLB and NFL scoreboards; narrated safety videos for Johnson Controls International; and co-wrote the top-rated PBS documentary, “Pioneers of Primetime.”
John recently closed his production company so he could spend more time working for other producers on a freelance basis. This move has allowed John to focus on his core strengths…script writing, voice-over narration, and creating music.
